I’ve been the lead pastor of Vieux Carre since January of 2020, and if you know me you know my wife, Anne-Elise, and our son. I’m from New Orleans, love our city, and pray God’s kingdom would come here as it is in heaven. I am a sinner saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
I’m an alumnus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and I also work for the New Orleans Baptist Association. Phil is our Missions and Outreach minister, and as such he’s point on our shower Friday homeless outreach and our Christian community residency program. He’s also our drummer, multi-talented guy. Phil started ministry as a part of the band “White Collar Sideshow,” traveling the country and the world to perform and minister to the musicians and techs who went with them, and we’re so glad God called him here to the Vieux.
Meg is our liturgist, the planner on the staff, and so much more. Her passion and attention to this work is unmatched. Mother of Elma, wife of Adam, friend of many, librarian, and entrepreneur.

Adam is our Minister of Community Development, meaning his work is to provide a wholistic pathway out of homelessness and addiction, into discipleship and health. Father of Elma, husband of Meg, and one of the longest-tenured members at the Vieux.
Robyn is holding this whole thing together, honestly. Wife of John, mother to three, friend to many, and one of the amazing employees of our nation’s WWII Museum.
